- Maskers
- Masking metal parts according to strict aerospace specifications.
- Duties include prepping, part fixturing, pre-cleaning, masking, and inspecting.
- Job requires handling and movement of parts.
- Job requires ability to follow specific and strict quality standards.
- Job requires use of measurement and inspection equipment.
- Job requires ability to understand and read blueprints.
- Must be able to understand and read English.
- Chemical Processors
- Process metal parts according to strict aerospace specifications.
- Duties include anodizing, prepping, cleaning, racking, rinsing and drying, etching, and testing.
- Job requires handling and movement of parts and handling of processing chemicals.
- Job requires ability to follow specific and strict quality standards.
- Must be able to understand and read English.
- Painters
- Duties: Sanding, prepping, and painting of aerospace parts to commercial and military standards.
- Paints Used: Water based primers and color coats, bond primers, solvent based primers, fuel tank coatings, dry lube, clear coats, and other specialty coatings.
- Requirements: Looking for a detail oriented dependable hard worker. We are an AS9100 and Nadcap shop and require consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
- Experience: At least 3 years experience in aerospace painting to mil-spec requirements preferred.

QUALITY |
|
- NDT Inspector
- NDT Level 2 processes parts, evaluates and interprets results, documents results, and performs equipment standardization checks. Our NDT inspectors perform fluorescent penetrant, hardness and conductivity testing to strict aerospace specifications.
- PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out the necessary preparation of parts before and after the inspection.
- Evaluate and interpret parts for acceptance/rejection criteria.
- Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards.
- Guide and supervise trainees and Level 1 personnel.
- Stay current on the codes, standards and contractual documents relating to the NDT processes performed at Coast Plating.
- Maintain clean work environment.
- Performs other duties as required.
- PHYSICAL / NON-PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Lift parts, equipment and tooling.
- Work non-traditional hours, such as overtime, weekends and holidays.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems AS9100 / ISO9000.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
- knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- NDT-Level 2 Certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
