Processes and Services
Coast Plating possesses a state-of-the-art processing and finishing capability that results from continuous investment in new production technologies, quality optimization programs and management and employee continuing education. CPI's operations are situated within about 48,000 square feet of facility comprising two locations in very close proximity (10 blocks) within Los Angeles County. The plants are located within close range of four major freeways, and within twelve miles of the Port of Los Angeles and Los Angeles International Airport.

The main offices are located at the Gardena facility on 154th Street, in which small parts and components are processed in a 30,000 square foot facility. Anodizing, Cleaning, Chemical Conversion and Anodize process tank line handles parts up to twelve feet long. There is a high volume paint shop with baking ovens as well as a low contamination paint shop with its own curing system.
The Carson plant on 164th Street can accommodate large parts and assemblies up to 27 feet long. This facility operates from one building that was completely renovated in 1998 and 1999 (operations began in 1999). The paint shop includes sixty linear feet of spray booth capacity and a large oven curing plant.
